Sunday Ramble: Rolling Hills, New Faces & Puppy Energy

What. A. Walk.

Today’s hike was one of those soul-filling days where everything just clicks — the trail, the company, the views (and yes, the cake at the end!).

We tackled quite the climb, legs definitely felt the burn, but the payoff was more than worth it. From the top, we were treated to sweeping views of rolling green hills under a sky that couldn’t quite make up its mind — sunny one moment, clouded the next. It was a classic “jumpers on, jumpers off” kind of day.

A special shoutout to the three fabulous ladies who joined our walking group for the first time — such great energy and already part of the crew. And we can’t forget our two furry companions who completely stole the spotlight! Those pups brought the joy and had us all smiling from start to finish 🐾🐶

Along the route, we were surrounded by signs of spring — fields full of lambs bouncing about (we gave up counting after a while!) and wildflowers peeking through the grass. It was one of those walks that just felt right.

We rounded things off with a well-earned lunch, a slice (or two) of cake, and a good old catch-up — the perfect way to wrap up a Sunday.
