Back With a Splash - we're in Full Swing! 💜

After a little summer breather, IOW Adventure Girls UK is officially back - and we couldn’t be more excited to see the community growing and thriving once again. Sometimes, a pause is just what’s needed to return with fresh energy, new ideas, and wild hearts ready for adventure.

We kicked things off again this Monday with a beautiful wild sea dip, joined by a bunch of brand new Wildettes (welcome, lovelies). The waves were choppy, the water was fresh, and the energy was high - a perfect way to reconnect with nature, each other, and that feeling of freedom we all crave.

By Wednesday, we were back on the trails with our first official walk in a few weeks. This one took us across the peaceful paths of Brading Marshes  - a gentle, chilled-out evening stroll that gave us space to chat, take in the views, and get to know some of our new Wildettes. These slower walks are such a lovely reminder of what this group is all about: connection, calm, and community.

Behind the scenes, there’s a lot happening right now - with a whole calendar of exciting events taking shape:

✨ Our second Wild Camp is in the works - expect more magic around the fire and under the stars

✨ Paddleboarding and kayaking sessions for those who love water adventures

✨ A soul-soothing sound bath session, perfect for unwinding and tuning in

✨ Plus plenty more beach hangs, hikes, swims, and spontaneous gatherings

🌿 Growing Something Special

IOW Adventure Girls UK has always been more than just walks and swims - it’s a community, a safe space, and a growing movement. Our group leader (hi, it’s me 👋) is currently working through multiple training courses to build the skills and confidence to lead even more women into the wild - safely, joyfully, and with purpose.

The dream? To keep building this space into a women’s haven right here on the Isle of Wight. Somewhere you can come as you are, breathe a little deeper, and feel fully supported. Whether you’re a seasoned Wildette or just taking your first brave step into the outdoors - you’re so welcome here 💜
